New Music – Undulate EP Just Released
Today the new Subaqueous Release, Undulate, was released on Bandcamp. Undulate is an EP that delves into new watery downtempo vibes. It's melodic stories unfold in an expansive tapestry. Free Ambient Set – Live as Cotec
On December 16th I was honored to play a live ambient set at an event in Seattle called Sanctuary. I performed at Cotec, an altered ego, for the night. I brought out my autoharp and keyboard to strum the night away. It was a rare and amazing event. I recorded that evening and edited it down a little to share.You might notice some melodies I have taken form my music as Subaqueous. I took out the beats and crafted them into ambient. (aq) Xylophone Instrument
A few months back I put together a recording of a Xylophone with some processing. Packaged it all into a cool instrument rack with effects in ableton as well. Below is the instrument I put together for free download. I have a Live Pack that works with Live 8 and 9 as well as a sample library of a few one shots used. They can be used in any DAW. Flux for Spatialization
Over the past few months I have been using a new Free Plugin VST I found and it's been amazing. Its from the company called Flux and the the VST is called Stereo Tool. This Plugin is amazing for dialing in your elements to get a great soundstage and placement. Its super easy to use. Here is an image below. This lets you increase the stereo width, pan the element, gain the right and left separately and more. I am now getting in the habit of putting this on every track in my production. Arabic and Tribal Rhythm Midi Pack
It has been a while since my last post due to traveling around the West coast on tour. During that time I spent what free time I had on this new and exciting midi collection. Before I gave away the free Dubstep midi collection, and this time and I am leveling it up with the Tribal Rhythms! Below is a collection of Tribal Rhythms. They are traditional rhythms used in lot of Arabic music. The rhythms are used with tabla and dumbek as well as other drums. I took live recordings and translated them to MIDI patterns. I wrote out the rhythms as midi and collected them all together. This pack has 102 rhythms. Since it is all MIDI files it can be used with any DAW. They are all organized with there traditional names. Using this as a bases for your drum beats you can create some complex and unique patterns. Download Arabic & Tribal Rhythms Enjoy the beats!
