Shout out to the music producers out there.  I’ve teamed up with Loopmasters, PluginBoutique, LANDR, Melodics, AfroDjMac, and Novation to present a new remix competition for Silk Drop.

Remix Competition Prizes Subaqueous

Winners of the remix contest will have their track appear on the official remix album. Both a grand prize winner and a runner-up will be chosen to appear on the release. The Grand Prize winner will, in addition, receive prizes from Subaqueous store, Novation, Loopmasters, LANDR, and more. Submissions are due by October 10th, 2016. The Remix Competition is for my new music project Silk Drop.

You can download all the stems below. This will give you a bunch of wav files to play with and a Readme document to help orient you to the BPM, Key, and such. (Like damn… Why doesn’t every competition do that?). Feel free to chop up the vocals any way you like, add new synth lines, make it lush as hell, or whatever your style is.

LANDR is also offering 1 free WAV to give your track the professional sound it deserves before entering the remix contest. Signup for a LANDR account here to get started. Once you finish the remix give them a try so you can upload a mastered version of the track.
