A djembe or jembe is a rope-tuned skin-covered drum played with bare hands, originally from West Africa. According to the Bambara people in Mali, the name of the djembe comes from the saying “Anke djé, anke bé” which translates to “everyone gather together in peace” and defines the drum’s purpose. – Wikipedia
With my new tracks, I found myself using the Tabla and the Djembe a lot. Ages ago I recorded the Djembe and finally got around to editing the samples into one-shots. I then built this Drum Rack and it’s found its way into my production a lot. Stoked to share this Rack with you.
