Have you ever wanted to make the perfect music for a sausage fest. Like total bro’ed out loud music? Well this is the thing for you… Sausage Fattener.
Seriously though, this is an amazing VST. It’s only $30 on their site and has a lot of uses. The Sausage Fattener VST adds a nice mixture of Harmonic Exciting, Wave shaping, and compression. It’s really easy to use. I find “overusing” this to add a crunchy element to my kick or bass as a juxtaposition to my other lighter elements is awesome.

The Sausage Fattener only has two knobs. But don’t be fooled. With those seemingly simple parameters you can create loads of different sounds. Use the Sausage Fattener on a single channel with moderate settings as a musical compressor. Turn it up and you have a dirty bastard of distortion. But you can also use the plugin on a bus (for example all the drums and the bass) or the whole track as a mastering plugin.
