I realized today that I have not talked about Kontakt and how amazing it is. I have been absolutely loving Kontakt as a way of manipulating and creating massive sampled instruments. Kontakt makes it super easy to take recordings of an instrument and turn it into a sample library you can load in kontakt for your production.

Ok, so now that I have talked about the amazing VSt that can work with Ableton or any DAW, I want to highlight a free Kontakt instrument I found. Over at Luxonix they released a free multi sampled Cajon. I use the Cajon in a lot of my music and love this library. It’s a free download, so check it out.
