I absolutely love field recordings and getting some unique sounds spliced up into a drum rack. This summer I played a lot of festivals. When I was out in these amazing spaces I took the time to record something cool. Such as cracking wood at Awaken and crashing rocks at Luminocity.

I spliced up my adventures and made some cracking drum racks for you all. From my recordings at Luminosity, on Vancouver Island, I made a drum rack with stones bouncing and breaking. It’s got a cool quality to it for percussion and snare. Below is a free download if you sign up on the site.

The Live Pack comes with a ready to use Drum Rack or download the original 16 samples for use with any DAW.

I also made a drum rack using the sound of crackling wood and sticks in California at Awaken. I had the pleasure of releasing this through Jamie, aka Kilowatts  and Dan of Aligning Minds new site called Deeply Subjective Music.  Download the rack for free from there and check out the other cool sounds happening there: http://www.deeplysubjectivemusic.com/ableton-rack-cracklewood-by-subaqueous/

Such and amazing summer of gigs and adventure. I look forward to a fall and winter of music making as well.
